Product
description

The MAG 4300 series of metal separators, used in glass recycling, removes metal contaminants eg aluminium, steel or lead from glass cullet. The cullet is widened on an external feeder and reaches the glass slide where the pieces are further individualised before continuing into the inspection area of the multi-channel metal detector. If a metal contaminant is detected microprocessors determine its exact location. Electronics evaluate this position and ejection nozzles are activated with pinpoint accuracy and at precisely the right time to blow out the contaminant. The ejection nozzles are so precise that the metal contaminants are removed with very little loss of cullet. The rest of the cullet, free of metal contaminants, then continues along the conveyor.

Product description		• Machine protection for mobile granulators, extruders, blow-moulding machines, after dosing units (star feeder, vibration chute) • Quality assurance, e.g. for the outgoing inspection of new materials, granulates, ground materials, regenerated materials. Used before octabins, big-bag stations, driers, and bagging stations P-Scan is a metal detector for installation in pipeline systems, e.g. for free-fall applications, pneumatic conveyor lines, material columns that are slowly moving down, or pump feed lines. The metal detector is used for the inspection of bulk materials, fibres, or liquid/pasty products. Product description		In plastics-processing plants conveyor belts with integrated metal detectors are used for the protection of comminution machines such as cutting mills, shredders, etc..The conveyor belt systems of the PLASTICON series have been specifically designed and built for this purpose. The PLASTICON system inspects piece goods or bulk materials (moulded parts, blow-moulded parts, reject parts, sprues, etc.) for metal contaminations. Lateral guides with brush seals prevent small parts from getting under the conveyor belt. When a metal is detected the conveyor belt is stopped or reversed. Metal detectors of model series ELS, DLS, or GLS can be used depending on the required scanning sensitivity and on the height of the material on the belt.Of course the PLASTICON series also is suitable for similar applications in other branches of industry.

Overband magnets are equipped with a strong permanent magnet made of fully stabilised strontium-ferrite. The recirculating belt is powered by an attachable gear motor. Ferrous contaminants are picked up and then removed by the circulating belt.

RME inline magnets are used in pipelines to remove ferrous metals from bulk materials. This type of magnetic separator uses an electro-magnetic field to attract contaminants. Cleaning the RME is very simple; as soon as the air-operated diverter valve is moved to the “Cleaning” position, a plc disconnects the electro-magnetic field and the attracted contaminants fall off.
